Experienced dentist serving Hendersonville provides dental crown repair

By

Dental crown repair from Hendersonville dentist
Life is full of frustrations. Unfortunately, sometimes that frustration is a broken crown. Dr. Christopher Port of Asheville Smile Center (serving the Hendersonville area) has almost two decades of experience providing dental care. He understands that even the best dental work sometimes needs repair. Our office is dedicated to

preserving and promoting your beautiful smile

. We take this dedication seriously. That’s why Dr. Port provides top-notch dental crown repairs.

Reasons crowns need repair:

  • Damage: A crown can fracture. Sometimes, if the fracture is severe enough, the entire crown will need replaced. Other times, if the fracture is tiny enough, rounding it off can effectively repair the crown, with no need for replacement.
  • Excessive wear: Sometimes a crown will develop a hole on the chewing surface where it meets another tooth. This is seen more in patients with tooth clenching or grinding habits. Dr. Port and gets to know each patient. If clenching or grinding may interfere with the integrity of your crown, he will help you find a solution to the problem.
  • Complications with tooth decay: A crown can’t decay. However, the tooth under the crown certainly can. The best solution for this issue is to remove the crown, fix the underlying decay and place a new crown.

Reasons Asheville Smile Center is your best choice:

  • Dr. Port is committed to learning and providing patients with the most innovative solutions to their restoration needs. You will receive high-quality repair and excellent follow-up care to ensure the problem is resolved.
  • We care for our patients as people. This means that we will help you with the insurance process to guarantee that you get the maximum benefit from your insurance.
Asheville Smile Center wants you to have long-lasting benefits from your dental restorations. We will make this happen. Call (828) 585-4049 today.
