Benefits of Invisalign

Realigning teeth with Invisalign in Asheville, NC

Patients who want to improve the alignment of their smile in a discreet yet effective manner are often introduced to treatments such as Invisalign by Dr. Christopher Port at the Asheville, NC area. At Asheville Smile Center, we can help patients in realigning their teeth with Invisalign and other orthodontic treatments such as Six Month Smiles.

Invisalign uses clear dental trays that are custom-made for patients and snap over the teeth. They fit in a snug manner to reposition the teeth into better alignment gradually. This occurs over the course of several months when patients comply with the treatment instructions provided by their dentist.

Dr. Christopher Port finds that Invisalign aligner therapy is a great way for patients to reposition their teeth without having to undergo traditional orthodontic braces. Braces are known for being unattractive, uncomfortable, and taking a long time to achieve the results patients need. Traditional braces are not always necessary, especially when patients are dealing with mild to moderate malocclusion. Our practice may encourage patients to take the time to learn about Invisalign and the many benefits treatment can provide.

Realigning the teeth with Invisalign is easy. Patients go into the Asheville Smile Center to find out if they are an appropriate candidate. Once determined patients can have treatment completed with success, we take a series of impressions. These impressions are sent to the Invisalign laboratories, and then used to create a series of trays. The trays are worn in order for two weeks each to reposition the teeth into proper alignment. Patients are urged to comply with treatment to see the results they desire within a specific period. Most patients will be able to achieve their more beautiful smile in six to twelve months.

Are you interested in using Invisalign to realign your smile? Contact the Asheville Smile Center today to book a consultation visit with Dr. Christopher Port and his dedicated staff. We welcome new patients of all ages in our family-friendly practice.
