FAQs on Porcelain Veneers

Understanding what veneers truly cost in the Asheville area

Your smile is the first thing most people notice when they meet you, and the feature they are most likely to remember. It is important to bear in mind the value of a good first impression in personal and professional situations when you consider the cost of cosmetic dentistry. One of the most popular ways to achieve a flawless smile is with porcelain veneers. The cost for this treatment in Asheville can be more reasonable than in other parts of the country, and the appearance benefits are priceless.

Residents of the Asheville, North Carolina area enjoy a high quality of life. Sperling's Best Places reports that, at 101.90, the cost of living here is slightly higher than United States average of 100. However, compare that to a cost of living index of 163.50 for Los Angeles, California; and 168.00 for New York City, and you'll see that necessities of life, including dental care are quite reasonable in this region.

What else influences the cost of veneers?

A dental veneer consists of a thin shell of material adhered to the exterior of a tooth. Veneers are used to hide cracks, discoloration, and chips. They improve the appearance of teeth that are worn down, and may effectively disguise minor misalignment or spaces.

The quality of materials and the expertise of the lab that fabricates the veneers play a big role in the overall cost. Dr. Port uses high quality porcelain veneers, designed with exacting measurements and color specifications. He works with a reputable lab to ensure that the veneers have precise fit and look stunning.

Why choose Dr. Port for your veneers?

Dr. Port adds value to the cost of porcelain veneers in a number of ways. He takes time to prep teeth properly, removing only a minute amount of natural tooth enamel to allow veneers to seat snugly and look natural. Once the veneers are crafted by the dental lab, the doctor patiently trims, fits, and cements each one into place before giving your new smile a lustrous polish.

The Asheville Smile Center team understands that you want to preserve your investment in dental veneers. You receive thorough care instructions to keep your mouth healthy and your veneers looking great for many years to come.

You can't put a price on the self-confidence of a great smile. However, you can be sure you are getting value for your cosmetic dentistry dollars when you trust your smile to Dr. Port's experienced hands and artistic eye. Call (828) 585-4049 to learn more about veneers – cost and value – in Asheville.
