We Are Excited To Announce That Starting May 11th
We Will Be Open For Normal Business Hours!

We’ve missed you! We hope you have stayed safe and in good health!

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice! You may have seen this during your visits to our office in the past. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to share additional precautions we will also be taking to ensure the well-being and safety of our team and patients.
Read Full List of Precautions

They will include but are not limited to:
  1. Limiting the number of patients in the practice at one time
  2. Asking for patients to wear masks when coming in and out of our office
  3. Asking a list of screening questions during appointment confirmation and repeating the list upon patient arrival
  4. Having patients wait in their vehicle until team member comes to take their temperature
  5. Having patient wash or sanitize hands upon arrival to office
  6. Limiting one parent or guardian to accompany one minor to his/her/their appointment
  7. Implementing digital forms/paperwork (including consent for treatment form) and payment options
  8. Scheduling more time between patients to perform disinfection practices above the standard protocols using electrolyzed water and medical grade sanitizers
  9. Cleaning the air with ozone filtration every evening
  10. Having all patients rinse with treatment specific mouthwash prior to any treatment
  11. Using advanced suction systems that reduce aerosols
  12. Screening our team each morning with questionnaire and temperature checks
  13. Masks worn throughout office by every patient and team member, except for when patients are receiving treatment
*Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Procedure Video As adults, we want to have a beautiful smile. In some cases, our families may not have been able to afford traditional orthodontics when we were younger. Maybe you did have orthodontic treatment, but didn't wear your retainer as advised and found that your teeth shifted back. No matter what your situation, a solution is available that doesn't involve metal brackets and wires. Thanks to technological advances in cosmetic dentistry, dentists such as Dr. Port are able to provide invisible braces.

Six Month Smile One option that is offered in our office is referred to as our adult cosmetic braces system, Six Month Smiles. Six Month Smiles uses what might be considered traditional braces, but it has a new twist on it. Instead of unsightly metal brackets glued to the teeth, Six Month Smiles uses plastic brackets, and instead of dark metal wires, it uses tooth-colored wires to move the teeth gently into their new positions. Because each tooth is attached to its own braces bracket, it allows us to make more fine-tuned movements in the teeth and get our patients a new, straighter smile in a quicker fashion.

Beautiful Smile Happiest Woman

Dr. Port enjoys using Six Month Smiles for patients who are focused on the teeth showing near the front of their mouth. Unlike traditional orthodontics and aligner systems such as Invisalign, Six Month Smiles does not address bite realignment or movement of teeth near the back of the mouth. This form of orthodontics only focuses on the teeth that show when a patient smiles, talks, and otherwise interacts with others. It is great for those minor adjustments needed to perfect a smile, and to address just a few problem teeth that need to be realigned.

Many people enjoy using Six Month Smiles because they are difficult to notice in a smile, and because patients can improve their smile in less than a year. In approximately six months, patients can have a better-looking smile for their wedding or reunion at an affordable rate. Traditional orthodontics not only takes longer, but also can be less attractive on a patient's smile. With Six Month Smiles, you can receive your treatment without feeling self-conscious about the way you look.
