Six Month Smiles

Achieving a smile makeover in North Carolina with Six Month Smiles

It is common for Dr. Christopher Port in North Carolina to work closely with patients who are unhappy with the appearance of their smiles. Many struggle with misalignment but are unsure about undergoing traditional metal bracket and wire braces. When patients are not at ease with the appearance of their smile and are interested in alternative solutions, they may be introduced to treatments such as Six Month Smiles to achieve a brilliant smile makeover.

Six Month Smiles is a non-traditional method of address mild misalignment of the front teeth. When the teeth near the front of the mouth are misaligned, they are a cosmetic concern more than a concern regarding function and health. Six Month Smiles can quickly alleviate concerns regarding the alignment of the "social six" and can be a more discreet method of treatment.

Six Month Smiles uses brackets and wires but they are tooth-colored for a less noticeable treatment. Teenagers and adult patients are often pleased to see how discreet treatment can be with Six Month Smiles and often prefer them over traditional methods of orthodontia. Many patients like the idea of treatment by a dentist they already know and trust, and avoid being referred to a specialist who they've never met before.

Dr. Christopher Port may suggest Six Month Smiles as a way of achieving a smile makeover for patients with mild to moderate malocclusion of the anterior (front) teeth. An initial consultation appointment and examination is encouraged before patients move forward with treatment. This is used to determine if patients are suitable candidates for this orthodontic alternative. Patients can then speak with their dentist about what to expect throughout treatment and how to maintain their results over time.

If you live in or around the area of Asheville, contact the team of the Asheville Smile Center today to book an initial consultation appointment with Dr. Christopher Port and his team of professionals. We welcome teenagers and adults who are interested in rejuvenating their smiles even when misalignment is a concern. Our team can help patients accomplish their oral health care goals, whether they are health-related or aesthetic
