Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice! You may have seen this during your visits to our office in the past. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to share additional precautions we will also be taking to ensure the well-being and safety of our team and patients.

Obtain great smiles with orthodontics at Asheville, NC area practice

At the Asheville Smile Center, patients have access to services to help them achieve beautiful, healthy smiles. Dr. Christopher Port and his team can even assist patients who are faced with the concept of orthodontics. Misaligned teeth can affect the appearance and functionality of the smile. Poor bite alignment can also lead to issues such as temporomandibular disorder. By addressing these concerns, patients can enjoy a more attractive look and maintain the health of their smiles.

Braces are often thought of as unattractive metal brackets and wires. They cover the teeth and patients may feel extremely self-conscious about how they look. Dr. Christopher Port is excited to offer alternatives that are much less obtrusive. These two methods are Invisalign and Six Month Smiles. Invisalign is a popular choice for those with mild to moderate misalignment and may be considered as a way of addressing problems with the alignment of the smile without the use of unsightly orthodontia.

Invisalign uses clear plastic trays. These trays are created in a series based on impressions of the patient's smile. Computer software determines the process of realignment with these trays. They are worn over the dental arch day and night for gently repositioning the teeth. Because the trays are removable for cleaning the teeth and eating, it is crucial that patients comply with their treatment if they want to see the timely results. Otherwise, delays may arise and additional costs may occur because of additional trays required. Compliance keeps treatment on track and gives patients their desired results.

This revolutionary method of treatment has been used to help hundreds of patients in getting the smile they've always wanted! At Asheville Smile Center, we can determine whether patients are appropriate candidates for this method of orthodontia. They can avoid the need for covering the smile with brackets and wires and enjoy a more discreet solution. If you are ready to find out more about Invisalign services or even our Six Month Smiles option, contact us today by calling (828) 585-4049 and speaking with our front office staff today.

I had a wonderful experience at Asheville Smile Center! I was very nervous about the amount of work needed and the potential cost. The staff were all very friendly, offering fresh baked cookies, aromatherapy and massage chairs! Dr. Hernandez was very thorough and was very to talk to. It was just an awesome visit!
