The Denture Fountain of Youth™ are a beneficial treatment for patients who are worried about how the changes in the bone and neuromuscular foundation with negatively impact the way they look. Dr. Christopher Port will discuss with patients what they can experience before, during, and after obtaining FOY™ Dentures.
Patients must be deemed appropriate candidates for The Denture Fountain of Youth™ before they can begin the process of obtaining them. This means that patients should book a consultation appointment with Dr. Christopher Port. During this visit, patients will be examined with both a physical evaluation and x-rays. This can be done to ensure patients are a good match for this type of denture.
Impressions are made and used to create The Denture Fountain of Youth™. When the dentures arrive back from the laboratory, necessary adjustments may be made for optimum comfort. Patients will also be given instructions on how to care for their new dentures.
Dr. Christopher Port will follow up with patients to make sure they are getting used to their new dentures and they fit properly. Patients are encouraged to bring their dentures with them whenever they visit the dental practice for cleanings and examinations. Any time patients are experiencing an uncomfortable fit, they are welcome to bring their FOY™ Dentures back to our practice for adjustments or to have new ones fabricated if there have been changes in the bone supporting the dentures.
